On a friday night that started stormy. A lively but small crowd. Certainly a massive anti-climax after the full dance floor & world class jiving (well Southern hemisphere anyway) at the 'sixteen footers' last Saturday night.
Bridesmaid, or matron of honour, gave your fresh-from-surf, windswept, barefoot photoblogger a deathie,(death stare) of Thatcheresque savagery. So i told bride, Simone? that she looked fantastic. Matron of hon. seemed to assume i was referring to HER, or at least both of them. So she was REALLY cross when Simone, our lovely bride, blithely smiled & tossed me a 'Thanks'. O, the chagrin!
